Leasehold and Commonhold Reform APPG

First Registered: 15/02/2017 • Last updated on: 24/01/2024

To consider matters relating to leasehold and commonhold legislation and regulation. Reduce opportunities for exploitation and improve cladding. Review the leasehold property Tribunal as a low-cost forum for disputes and redress including leasehold insurance and service charges which fall outside FCA regulation. Meet with and monitor government departments and publicly funded bodies working on leasehold.

Note: All-Party Parliamentary Groups (APPGs) are informal, cross-party groups formed by MPs and Members of the House of Lords who share a common interest in a particular policy area, region or country. APPGs have no official status within Parliament.
