United Nations APPG

First Registered: 30/07/2015 • Last updated on: 24/01/2024

The primary objective of the APPG is to raise awareness of the UN among MPs and Peers; about its contributions across the areas of peace and security, development and human rights; about the scope of international law and its relevance to the UK; and about the applicability of the UN to the British electorate.

Note: All-Party Parliamentary Groups (APPGs) are informal, cross-party groups formed by MPs and Members of the House of Lords who share a common interest in a particular policy area, region or country. APPGs have no official status within Parliament.
