UNESCO World Heritage Sites APPG

First Registered: 18/06/2025 • Last updated on: 18/06/2025

The APPG seeks to grow support and recognition for British World Heritage Sites (WHS) and the grassroots organisations managing them; develop WHS as assets for soft power by sharing good practice internationally; articulate the significance and benefits of WHS, particularly lesser-known ones domestically and globally, in achieving balanced economic growth.

Note: All-Party Parliamentary Groups (APPGs) are informal, cross-party groups formed by MPs and Members of the House of Lords who share a common interest in a particular policy area, region or country. APPGs have no official status within Parliament.
