Disinformation APPG

First Registered: 01/09/2026 • Last updated on: 01/09/2026

The APPG provides a cross-party forum for parliamentarians, experts and civil society to examine how false or misleading information spreads in the UK, assess its impact on public trust, safety and democracy, and explore evidence-based approaches to strengthen resilience.

Note: All-Party Parliamentary Groups (APPGs) are informal, cross-party groups formed by MPs and Members of the House of Lords who share a common interest in a particular policy area, region or country. APPGs have no official status within Parliament.
