Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to page 70 of his Department's Annual Report and Accounts 2022-23, what his planned timetable is for the completion of the independent review of the effectiveness of the Defence Board; and whether he plans to publish the findings of that review.

The independent-led effectiveness review of the Defence Board is underway and the department intends for the review to be completed within the 2023-24 reporting year. Key findings will be published within the 2023-24 Annual Report and Accounts.
