Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what the goals are of the new Water Regulator replacing Ofwat.

The Government has committed creating a powerful new regulator.

Defra will work closely with the current regulators to ensure a smooth transition; detailed organisational structure and design of the new regulator is still under development.
