Competition schedule

• The leaderboard opens 27 Sep 2026 12:00 BST.
• Prize positions are fixed at 29 Sep 2026 17:00 BST.

Eligibility and entry

• Entry to the competition is free. No purchase or payment is required to enter.
• The competition is open to anyone who registers using the competition registration form and provides valid registration details.
• Participants must provide accurate and complete information when registering.
• Participants must register using an email address associated with an organisation, business, educational institution, charity, public body or other recognised organisation. Private or personal email addresses, including addresses provided by services such as Hotmail, Outlook.com, Gmail, Yahoo and similar consumer email services, are not permitted.
• Each person may register only once.
• Participation is on an individual basis. Each participant must complete their own game attempt without another person completing questions on their behalf.
• We may request reasonable information to verify a participant's identity, registration or eligibility.

Playing the game

• Participants must complete the registration process before submitting a score for that score to be eligible for a prize.
• The score and time recorded by the competition system will be used for leaderboard and prize purposes, subject to verification under these terms.

Rankings and scoring

• Only scores submitted by registered participants with valid registration details are eligible for prizes.
• Leaderboard entries are ranked by fastest total time, then by the highest number of correct answers. Earlier submissions resolve any remaining tie.
• Incorrect or unanswered questions receive the penalty shown during the game and that penalty is included in the recorded time.
• Where a participant makes multiple attempts, their best qualifying submitted score at the prize deadline determines their prize position.
• Participants must not manipulate, interfere with or attempt to circumvent the scoring system.

Prizes

• The top three eligible registered entries at the prize deadline are marked as prize winners, subject to verification.
• Free Trial Subscription prizes are only available to users who are not existing subscribers.
• Prize positions are fixed at 29 Sep 2026 17:00 BST.
• Later scores may appear on the overall leaderboard but are not eligible for the prizes.
• Each prize is subject to verification of participant identity, contact details, score validity and compliance with these terms.
• Winners may be required to provide reasonable evidence of identity and eligibility before a prize is awarded.
• If a winner cannot be contacted, does not provide requested verification within a reasonable period, or is subsequently found to be ineligible, we may withdraw the prize.
• Prizes are non-transferable unless otherwise agreed by the organiser.

Invalid entries and prohibited conduct

• We may reject, invalidate or remove entries or scores that use prohibited private or personal email addresses.
• We may reject or remove duplicate, false, incomplete or misleading registration details.
• Automated entries, including entries submitted using bots, scripts or other automated software, are not permitted.
• We may reject or remove scores that have been manipulated or generated through interference with the game, website, browser, network or scoring system.
• Participants must not exploit technical errors or vulnerabilities in the competition system or obtain unauthorised assistance.
• The organiser may investigate suspicious entries and may temporarily remove an entry from the leaderboard while an investigation is carried out.

Technical issues

• We will make reasonable efforts to keep the game and leaderboard available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
• We may temporarily suspend the competition or leaderboard for maintenance, security, technical investigation or other operational reasons.
• If a technical issue affects the recording or calculation of a score, we may investigate and determine whether the affected score is valid.
• Participants should report significant technical problems to the organiser as soon as reasonably possible.

Personal data and communications

• Information collected during registration will be used to administer the competition, including registering participants, recording scores, contacting potential winners, verifying eligibility and awarding prizes.
• By registering for the competition, participants agree that Parallel Political Technologies Ltd (trading as Parallel Parliament) may use the contact details they provide to send marketing and other communications about Parallel Parliament, including information about its products and services, events, competitions, news and updates.
• Participants can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe mechanism provided in the relevant communication or by contacting the organiser.
• Unsubscribing from marketing communications will not affect a participant's eligibility to participate in the competition or receive a prize for which they are otherwise eligible.
• Personal data will be handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation and our applicable privacy notice.

Administration

• We may reject or remove duplicate, automated, manipulated, incomplete or otherwise invalid entries.
• We may make reasonable changes to the competition where necessary because of technical, operational, legal or security issues.
• We may suspend or terminate the competition where circumstances outside our reasonable control make this necessary.
• Our decisions concerning eligibility, validity of entries, recorded times, scoring, rankings, ties and the award of prizes are final, subject to any rights participants have under applicable law.

General

• By registering for and participating in the competition, participants agree to these terms and conditions.
• These terms should be read together with any instructions displayed within the Faces of Parliament game.
• If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
• The competition is operated by Parallel Political Technologies Ltd (trading as Parallel Parliament).
• These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales shall have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights available to participants under applicable law.
