Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to the 2025 Strategic Defence Review, whether he has given the Defence Academy and other Defence centres of training and educational excellence commercial freedoms to operate by lifting the restriction that only irreducible spare capacity can be offered externally, as outlined in Recommendation 26.

The Government is committed to delivering the Strategic Defence Review's ambition to strengthen collaboration between Defence and industry through education and training. Existing arrangements remain in place pending the conclusion of that work.
