Question to the HM Treasury:
To ask Her Majesty's Government what estimate they have made of the amount of income that has been raised by HM Treasury from the Carbon Price Support in each year since it was introduced on 1 April 2013 to the present.

Carbon Price Support (CPS) is implemented through the CPS rates of both Climate Change Levy and Fuel Duty.
It is estimated that since April 2013 £5bn has been received from CPS, broken down by year as shown in the table below.
