Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, how many instances of Russian jets entering the airspace of Estonia without authorisation have occurred each month since 2019.
This question was answered on 2nd November 2022
The Ministry of Defence does not collect data on the number of incursions into Estonian airspace by Russian aircraft. However, according to information provided by the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, there were three incursions in 2019; two in 2020; five in 2021; and three up to 31 October 2022.
