Question to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities:
To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, when his Department plans to consult on mandating optional access standards.

Government plans to consult shortly on various options to raise the accessibility of new homes. This will include consideration of how optional technical standards for accessible and adaptable homes and for wheelchair user homes are currently used.
