HMP Channings Wood: Prison Accommodation

Question to the Ministry of Justice:
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, how many Rapid Deployment Cells are in use at Channings Wood.
This question was answered on 7th May 2025
Whilst there are not any Rapid Deployment Cells (RDCs) currently in use at HMP Channings Wood, there are 30 RDCs in construction at the site. We expect these to be operational by the end of 2025.
