Question to the HM Treasury:
To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, if he will make an assessment of the potential implications for cross-border loss of revenue in Northern Ireland of changes in the level of fuel duty in his preparations for the Budget in July 2015.
The government is committed to reducing revenue loss due to fuel duty fraud and HM Revenue and Customs works closely with the Revenue Commissioners in the Republic of Ireland and others to fight fuel fraud on a wide range of fronts.
