Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, whether he plans to increase Air Passenger Duty rates for economy-class passengers.

Air Passenger Duty (APD) applies to airlines and is the principal tax on the aviation sector.

The Chancellor makes decisions on tax policy at fiscal events, and does not routinely comment on proposals.
