In May, the Government announced there will be no rise in Fuel Duty this year. This means the temporary 5 pence per litre (ppl) cut will be extended until the end of the year, providing certainty to motorists.

The Chancellor makes decisions on tax policy at fiscal events, and does not routinely comment on proposals.
