Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, if she will review the policy whereby drug-resistant epilepsy does not qualify within free NHS flu vaccinations.

Eligibility for the seasonal flu vaccination programme is based on the independent and expert advice of the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI), which is kept under regular review. More details on the role of the JCVI are available at the following link:
