Question to the Ministry of Defence:
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, pursuant to the answer of 6 October 2026 to Question 21505, how much of the £470 million investment to improve the security of critical military sites across the UK will be allocated to Scottish military sites.
Defence has already invested in surveillance and counter-drone capabilities and is working to extend Restricted Airspace protections around Defence sites. The Defence Investment Plan (DIP) provides an additional £470 million over four years to enhance site protection and reduce legacy underspending. Plans for investing this allocation from the DIP are still in development and we cannot comment further on the specifics.
