The government has assessed the impact of the UK-India Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement through its impact assessment which was published at the time of signature. Total bilateral trade (goods and services) is modelled to increase by nearly 39% in the long run, equivalent to £25.5bn a year when applied to projections of future trade in 2040.
