To ask the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, what discussions she has had with [i] BT Openreach and [ii] other full fibre providers on ensuring the swift roll out of FTTP broadband to households in Hinckley.

82% of premises in the Hinckley and Bosworth constituency are currently able to access a gigabit-capable connection, which is an improvement from 67% in July 2024, according to Ofcom’s reporting.

Building Digital UK (BDUK) also conducts market reviews to identify which premises require subsidy in order to achieve a gigabit-capable connection. According to our latest information, there is broadband rollout in the area being undertaken on a commercial basis, without public subsidy.
