To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what the average time taken was for a local authority to adopt a road in each local authority in each of the last five years.

The Department does not hold this information. Adoption of roads that are not maintainable at public expense is a matter for the relevant local highway authority, and the Department does not typically intervene in such matters.
