Question to the Ministry of Justice:
To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, pursuant to the answer of 8 September 2026 to Question 22797 on HMP Liverpool, for how long has work at the prison been paused.
This question was answered on 13th October 2026
The refurbishment programme at HMP Liverpool was paused following the administration of ISG Ltd in September 2024. Construction activity has now resumed.
