Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, pursuant to the answer of 8 September 2026, to question 23177 on East West Rail Line, what progress has he made on the delivery of Tempsford Railway Station and what stage is the project currently at.

East West Rail Company consulted on proposals for Tempsford station in its Spring consultation which closed on 9 June. The company is considering feedback to this and is currently progressing design work as part of preparation for its Development Consent Order application in 2027.
