Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, pursuant to the Answer of 8 September 2026 to Question 23415 on Armoured Fighting Vehicles, for what reason Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) launchers undergoing modernisation upgrades are no longer counted as part of the British Army’s current MLRS fleet.

The Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) launchers are committed into the production cycle to be upgraded and are therefore no longer counted as part of the current MLRS fleet. Once the upgrade is complete, they will be added back into the modernised fleet.
