Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, pursuant to the answer of 7 September 2026, to question 23341 on Chinook Helicopters, on what dates were each of the nine Chinook Helicopters disposed of.

The Pursuant question previously explained that five Chinook Helicopters were removed from the reported fleet between 2024 and 2026 and are being disposed of in accordance with Defence disposal policy. It would be inappropriate for me to provide exact disposal dates as to do so could, or would be likely to, prejudice the capability of our Armed Forces.
