Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what assessment she has made of the impact of the weight of (a) fuel-powered vehicles and (b) electric-powered vehicles on the United Kingdom's road network.

Wear and tear on roads is dominated by heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) and buses, with a much smaller impact from cars of any type.
