Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what estimate she has made of the level of grant funding to Essex Police in each of the next five years.

In 2026-27 Essex Police will receive up to £457.2 million of funding, an increase of up to £20.3 million compared to 2025-26, which equates to a 4.7% cash increase and 2.6% real terms increase.

The Police Funding Settlement is an annual process. Funding allocations for future years will therefore be determined at future Police Funding Settlements.
