Question to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs:

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what assessment she has made of the effectiveness of current measures to reduce fly-tipping in Royal Sutton Coldfield.

Local councils are responsible for keeping their public land clear of litter and refuse and they have been given enforcement powers to help them tackle fly-tipping. This Government continues to work with partners to strengthen the national response to waste crime through measures set out in the Waste Crime Action Plan.
