Question to the Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade:

To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade, if she will take steps to ensure the Responsible Business Conduct Review takes into account Human Rights and Environmental Due Diligence.

The Responsible Business Conduct review was an evidence-based appraisal of the UK’s current policy approach to responsible business conduct, its impact and options to strengthen it further, including mandatory human rights and environmental due diligence.

The Government is considering the findings and will set out its position in due course.
