Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, what steps his Department is taking to increase awareness of how to report crimes in foreign countries.

The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) is committed to helping British nationals stay safe overseas. We raise awareness of travel risks, including sexual assault, alongside information on how to access help and report crimes, through Travel Advice, GOV.UK guidance and the FCDO's Travel Aware campaign. We undertake specific initiatives and campaigns in support of this work informed by the trends and concerns identified.
