Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what steps he is taking to publicise his Department's consultation on mandatory training on learning disabilities for healthcare professionals.

We consulted with a wide range of organisations, including those representing people with learning disability, to develop the consultation document on mandatory training on learning disabilities for health and social care professionals.

Once the consultation opens, we will seek to widely publicise the consultation, including through our arm’s length bodies, voluntary sector organisations, professional groups, and health and social care providers.
