Question to the Cabinet Office:

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, whether her Department monitors the amount of food waste generated by its offices each month.

The Cabinet Office monitors food waste in line with the Greening Government Commitments.

Data is collected through existing estate and facilities management arrangements and reported to the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (DEFRA).
