Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, whether officials in his Department have had discussions with relevant stakeholders on the potential merits of reducing the age at which people become eligible for an older person's bus pass.

Whilst councils can choose to expand the criteria for concessionary travel in their areas, there are no plans to force them to do so.
