To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, pursuant to his Department’s publication entitled Government procurement card HMT spend greater than £500: October 2022, published 31 May 2023, what was the (a) nature and (b) purpose of the furniture and fittings purchased on 25-26 October 2022 from (i) JW Plant & Co. Ltd and (ii) Crown Fine Art.

The expenditure is related to improvements to offices.
