Question to the Department for Transport:

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what the timetable is for reducing the mean average gender pay gap in his Department to (a) 10 per cent and (b) zero.

The Department is working to reduce its gender pay gap in support of the Government’s ambition to close the gender pay gap within a generation. An update on our gender pay gap will be published by the end of the year which will set out our plans in more detail.
