Question to the HM Treasury:
To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, what assessment he has made of the effect on the effectiveness of HMRC of the removal of its status as a preferential creditor in insolvency under the Enterprise Act 2002.

HMRC has not undertaken any assessment since its change in its status as a preferential creditor.
