Question to the HM Treasury:
To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, what recent estimate he has made of the financial savings which will arise from the Building Our Future programme.

HMRC’s Building our Future Locations Programme is the key to its wider transformation. HMRC currently expects that the move to regional centres will result in savings of around £300 million up to 2025. The Locations Programme will also deliver annual cash savings of £74 million in 2025-26, compared with 2015-16 costs, rising to around £90 million by 2028, while improving customer service and modernising how HMRC works.
