Both assessments are designed to treat all health conditions and disabilities fairly by assessing the functional impact of those conditions and disabilities on an individuals' life rather than focusing on the health condition or disability itself. For, Employment and Support Allowance that is through assessing their capability to work and in Personal Independence Payment (PIP) through their ability to manage daily living or mobility activities.
