Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, if he will give a remit to infrastructure agencies to consider the (a) circular economy and (b) natural infrastructure.

The UK’s national prosperity and wellbeing depends upon the sustainable use of our natural capital and the protection and enhancement of the environment.

Recognising the need to invest sustainably, our upcoming National Infrastructure Strategy will set out our long-term economic infrastructure ambitions, including on decarbonisation, waste and resource-use efficiency, and levelling up the nation.
