The Home Office collects and publishes information on the number of hate crime offences recorded by the police in England and Wales. For religious hate crimes, the Home Office began collecting information on the perceived religion of the victim on a mandatory basis in April 2017. These data are due to be published in the next hate crime statistical bulletin in October 2018.

The most recent hate crime statistical bulletin is available here: https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/hate-crime-england-and-wales-2016-to-2017
