Question to the Ministry of Defence:

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, of the civil claims notified to his Department relating to events that occurred during the Troubles in Northern Ireland from 1969, how many veterans were involved in the events relating to these civil claims.

The Ministry of Defence does not hold centrally recorded data identifying the number of veterans involved in the events giving rise to civil claims relating to the Troubles in Northern Ireland.
