Require employers to pay college students undertaking work placements

I think the Government should require employers to pay people who have to attend work placements for their college courses (education up to 18 is mandatory).

I believe students should get paid for the hours they do. Especially considering it’s so difficult to get apprenticeships meaning people often can’t choose to learn and get paid.
