Regulate lifeguard provision and require them to use coloured flags

I would like to the Government to regulate lifeguard provision at all major beaches. This would be done at beach towns with 25,000+ residents. I think it is paramount to make our beaches as safe as possible.

I want all beaches to have coloured flags that indicate where it is safe to swim and do water sports.

I think it is paramount to make our beaches as safe as possible. I feel that in places like California and Spain, lifeguards are very common. So, why can’t they be common here as well. I also feel that all beaches should have coloured safety flags to indicate where it is safe to swim and do water sports. I think these flags are easy to understand. I note that many beaches already have lifeguards and flags from the RNLI and other organisations. I ask for this to be rolled out to all beaches.
