Yoga is a safe, effective, and affordable complimentary intervention. Evidence-based recommendations that encourage the prescribing of yoga could help to ensure that people have access to the benefits of yoga and may also help to reduce the burden on the NHS by providing people with effective self-management tools for a range of conditions.
