I want the Government to require training in all health and social care settings, and schools, on eating disorders, the signs and symptoms for these disorders, and sensitive handling of sufferers of eating disorders.

Having suffered with a variety of eating disorders throughout my life, too many professionals have not understand eating disorders or how to engage with sufferers. I think if specific training on eating disorders was mandatory in certain settings, especially hospitals and mental health settings, professionals who may come into contact with sufferers would have a better understanding of eating disorders, which should greatly benefit those who suffer
