Change the way the prime minister is elected to a general vote

Split the election of MPs from the election of the prime minister so that we, the people, can directly choose our PM by a proportional vote to make it a fair system that will represent our views and opinions at time of election, 1 year ahead of a planned general election.

Currently, the party with the most seats in the house gets to select the PM, regardless of the general opinion of the voters. This is now an outdated system given the variety of valid parties represented in the house. This split will allow us, the people, to select our PM from a pool of candidates elected by us throughout the country, making it a more relevant system than the one currently in place.
