Play APPG

First Registered: 20/10/2025 • Last updated on: 20/10/2025

The APPG on Play is a cross-party group of Members of Parliament and the House of Lords committed to championing every child’s right to play by promoting its value, protecting time and space, and building acceptance across society. The group will advocate for a new National Play Strategy and play sufficiency legislation to ensure all children, in every community, have the freedom and opportunity to play every day.

Note: All-Party Parliamentary Groups (APPGs) are informal, cross-party groups formed by MPs and Members of the House of Lords who share a common interest in a particular policy area, region or country. APPGs have no official status within Parliament.
