Question to the Department for Business and Trade:
To ask His Majesty's Government what steps they are taking to ensure that the UK–China trade agreement aligns with human rights, labour standards, and environmental protections.
This question was answered on 10th August 2023
The Government has no plans to negotiate a free trade agreement with China.
