Question to the Department for Education:

To ask Her Majesty's Government what plans they have to ensure that the Lifetime Skills Guarantee is accessible to those with disabilities.

Further education providers are autonomous organisations. They are responsible for arranging access to their education and training provision, which from next year will include the new level 3 entitlement announced by my right hon. Friend, the Prime Minister as part of the Lifetime Skills Guarantee. We would expect providers to ensure appropriate access to their education and training for people with disabilities by adhering to their obligations under the Equality Act.
