Question to the Department for Education:

To ask Her Majesty's Government what will be the terms of reference of the new commission on race and ethnic disparities; and on what areas it will focus.

The new Commission on Race and Ethnic Disparities will examine continuing racial and ethnic inequalities in Britain. The aim of the Commission is to set out a new, positive agenda for change - balancing the needs of individuals, communities and society, maximising opportunities and ensuring fairness for all. The terms of reference will be published in due course.
