Question to the Cabinet Office:

To ask Her Majesty’s Government whether they will consider adding Governmental Non-Executive Directors to the list of people with whom lobbyists have contact for disclosure in the Statutory Register of Lobbyists.

The statutory register of consultant lobbyists is designed to complement the existing government transparency regime whereby ministers and permanent secretaries publish details of their meetings with external organisations. The Government has no plans to increase the scope of the register.
